“I Find It ‘Disgusting’ That Achraf Hakimi’s Mother Controls Him”, – Women’s Rights Activist Reacts To Moroccan Footballer Hakimi’s Divorce Issues
Women’s rights activist and life coach Laila St. Daniel-Mathew has expressed her views on the controversy surrounding Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi’s reported lack of assets. According to recent reports, Hakimi’s wife filed for divorce and demanded half of his fortune, only to discover that he had put his entire fortune under his mother’s name.
In a post on her Facebook page, Laila criticized the fact that Hakimi’s mother, Fatima, is allegedly in charge of the player’s fortune, saying that it is “disgusting” that a grown man is being controlled by his mother. She also took aim at those who have criticized Hakimi’s wife for seeking a share of his wealth.
“I see so many nasty comments, mostly by men, towards Hakimi’s wife asking the courts to grant her half his wealth. For crying out loud SHE IS HIS WIFE AND THEY HAVE TWO SONS? She can ask for anything because she is part of him – it is left to the courts to decide,” Laila wrote.
“She can ask for anything because she is part of him – it is left to the courts to decide. I find it MORE DISGUSTING that his MOTHER CONTROLS him! A grown man? All these men talking – is that what they do? A man tied to his mother’s wrapper? Probably she is the cause of whatever issues has led to this divorce!”
“Which woman will be happy that everything that happens in her home is controlled by the mother of her husband? Even if she brought him up and was part of his success – it is wrong and very calculating of Hakimi also. I am sure if she has a GOOD lawyer – she can collect a good alimony for herself and her sons.”
Achraf Hakimi is a 24-year-old Moroccan footballer who plays for Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1. He has been reported to be one of the highest-earning players in the league. The controversy surrounding his assets has generated a lot of attention on social media, with many people expressing their views on the matter.
