We all have doubts regarding the Nollywood profession from time to time, such as whether actors study. Is a college education required to become an actor?
Alternatively, which actor has the highest or lowest level of education? We are all aware that education is necessary in order to advance in life.
Nigerians generally believe that Nollywood starsare uneducated. To counter this fallacy, I will present you with some Nollywood celebs that graduated with honours in this essay. They are listed in no particular sequence and are as follows:
Adesua Etomi is more than just charming and gorgeous. She embodies the proverb “beauty and intellect.”
Adesua earned an honours degree in Physical Theater, Musical Theater, and Performing Arts from City College in Coventry, England.
Adesua then went on to study drama and performance at the University of Wolverhampton, where she earned a first-class degree in 2009.
Tosin Abiola, commonly known as Omo Brish, graduated with honours from a UK institution in August 2018. The mother of two is an inspiration to many young mothers, demonstrating that motherhood does not prohibit a woman from pursuing her scholastic ambitions.
Chinenye Nnebe, a young actress, graduated with First-Class Honours from Zenith University College in Accra, Ghana, in October 2020.
Van Vicker, Joseph
Joseph Fiifi Van Vicker is the most recent Nollywood star to graduate with honours. The actor obtained a first-class degree in strategic communication 21 years after leaving secondary school in July 2021.
You’re probably wondering why Van Vicker waited so long to enrol in college. According to the actor, his single mother’s inability to pay for his education prevented him from attending university with his contemporaries in 1997.
