The Nigerian Nollywood Industry has witnessed some shocking deaths of it’s practitioners this year.

1. David Mela: David Mela was a fast rising Nollywood Actor. He died from an undisclosed ailments on Monday 11 January, 2021.

2. Folake Aremu: Folake Aremu popularly known as Orisabunmi for the role she played in a Yoruba movie. The legendary actress died on 6 January 2021 after suffering from a brief illness.

3. Jim Lawson Maduka: Jim Lawson Maduka was a Nigerian Nollywood Actor and journalist who died on 9 January, 2021 after he complained of a body pain. He was such an exceptional actor who has been putting smiles on the faces of Nigerians until he passed to Glory.

4. Victor Decker: Nollywood actor Victor Decker who is known for his role as the Galadima of the Kowa Emirates Council in the “The Sons Of Caliphate” series is nolonger among the living.

The actor was found Dead by his Neighbors in his apartment on the 15 of February, 2021. His body was already decomposing.

5. Bruno Iwuoha: The veteran Nollywood Actor passed away on the early hours of Saturday, 10 April 2021 after he fought with Diabetes and Glaucoma before he was finally taken by the cold hands of death.

6. Eddyth Obianuju Odidika: The young and vibrant actress died months after she came online to Solicit funds to treat an illness.

7. Dan Nkoloagu: The Veteran Actor also lost his life months back.

8. Ernest Asuzu: The popular Nollywood Actor died on the evening of Tuesday January 26, 2021.
